Starting a website, what to use? HTML site or WordPress?

    I prefer you my own code because you know what you do it. People confuse WordPress as website that is wrong, WordPress is just a blog.

    I'd say WordPress, with which you can also create static websites by tweaking a few settings on the Dashboard and template options. Besides, you already get a few things set (=saved time) and the amount of support and number of free&premium templates available is amazing. If you are just starting, I'd recommend Suffusion or Atahualpa as free themes. Both have great customer reviews and well-established support forums, and are highly versatile.

    PD: If later you want to add a blog to your static site, you'll already have WordPress' blogging platform installed. One more very useful advantage.

    Well, from HTML or Wordpress, I would choose WORDPRESS.

    But, if you can make a website in PHP , it would be best :)

    If you want to keep writing articles, go with WordPress. HTML sites are usually not updated too much.
