    Personally, I think it's brandable, but this name needs to be developed to be worth more than reg fee.

    I like the name, even if for me 777 is more related to aviation (boeing 777) than to unix permissions.

    Anyway, it's short, and more so, super easy to remember, and as you have a nice catchy geeky story to explain the name to webmasters i'd say it suits fine.

    And in case your webmaster forum does not take off, you can try branding the domain as a B777 forum ;)
