Starting a Web Design & Development Company..some Tips?

Very useful information, I'm actually also new to freelancing, I've been designing for quite a while, I still plan on going to college next year to really get to know Visual Communications and such , I think it would really make a difference.. Oh and I've had friends who have made lots of money around $2000-3000 Monthly, and they can't design nearly as good as myself. What my friend does is get clients from word of mouth.. distributing cards and things like that. Thats how he really gets the big clients. And he says its quite easy . Me I'm only 19, but I love design with a passion, and I'm literally everyday working hard to get better, I never have a problem with selling my work ever!, it always sells But it doesn't sell for the price I ask for unfortunately =/. I haven't yet tried advertising my services because I need to open a design site myself, I'll get to it probably end of this year, I really wanna learn css/xhtml aswell as illustrator.

Anyways GL with your company, if you ever need a partner lmk! , I figure its better to work with someone then alone
