So I'm thinking of starting a proxy list and would like to know if anyone here has any useful tips? I've got a few specific questions: First of all how should I get started? Do I just add random proxies to my list or what? Is Adwords a good advertising method for this type of site? If not, then what is? Also, I've seen a couple PHP listing scripts around. But they seem a bit expensive for me. Anyone know if there are cheaper/free versions? Or are they not necessary? Any help much appreciated P.S. I did search around for any info on this but couldn't really find anything
To get your list started, you need to tell people to submit their site to your list, and in exchange they will need to put a link back to your list from their proxy home page. This way, they get approved on your list, and you get free advertising for your list because you're on people's homepages. Also, to make it more appealing for people, you could offer special promotion deals to try and get the first few people submitting to your list, just to get the ball rolling, like offering bold places for some random proxies, that sort of thing.
1.You can start off by help people submit their proxy to your topsite for free.And you can do this at DP 2.Not really a good idea.But if you have a budget,go for it.It much more better than none 3.Go for paid script coz free script too vulnerable to exploit
