Starting a proxy site

hey im confused and yes i have already googled it !

I have a template but whats the script i need and how do i mix script + template together?

 

Most of the proxy scripts are available for free at www.sourceforge.net.

You need a basic knowledge to mix and match script and template together, otherwise get someone doing it for you.

Most of the time you can put the script into a template by means of a PHP include, if you know what I mean by this.

 

Well what do you mean?

 

If you don't know how to use PHP include i would strongly suggest getting a coder help you create your proxy with a custom template. However, if your not fussed about a template then do what "Trusted Writer" said and download a script from sourceforge.

 

but then how would i add adds on it?

 

Most scripts already cater for the ads... find a script that already has it built in and all you need to do is change the pub id if your using adsense for example.

 

There are many different proxy scripts available which you can use for free. Most of these have large communities built around them so there is lots of helpful information out there.

Here is a short list of the best scripts to use:

These scripts are not all that easy to install, and you may need to contact your host. I would suggest getting someone to install one of these for you since it sounds like you're not too sure what you are doing, and you want to know that its done right.

Once you are finished setting up your proxy site, you can promote it by submitting it to sites like mine: Free Proxy List.

You can hire a programmer to help you integrate the template with proxy script

 

No its that i went with glype! And it comes with template, all i did is customize it but thx any ways guys!

aproxytheme.com has a couple nice turn key templates.

 

Alternatively you can use photoshop and create your own page
Then use embedproxies.com to start your own site with that template

Glype was a good choice. Best proxy script in my opinion
