I "think" I have a great idea for a photo submission blog. I have already purchased the domain and created accounts on twitter & FB. Next is actually making it happen. I want something similar to peopleofwalmart.com or hotchickswithdouchebags.com, where people can submit photos via email and I post them on the site for people to comment on/view. I also would like to generate some revenue off of this site via ads. Can anyone point me in the right direction where to start doing research? I am not a developer (I am a Windows Server/networking specialist) so I wouldn't being doing the site design myself. Thanks!!
Hi, I think this idea of a photo submission site is a bit old. Just look at Flickr (from Yahoo). But it's your decision. Anyway if you want to create an interactive site, you have to learn PHP and MySql. Or you can pay a programmer for making it. But if you have a budget, I would create a site that is totally new and unique. So no competitors and big business future. Good luck!
