Starting a personal website with no money?!?!

    There are many free hosts. The consqequence is that you'll have 1 maybe more advertisements on your site. WordPress doesn't advertise on blogs as far as I know so it's your best bet.

    Writing is really profitable here.
    Sell some things on ebay.

    Just make enough money to get the domain & hosting.

    I use http://www.Mochahost.com It's really cheap

    once you get a site set up, put some adds or affiliates so that it will pay for itself.

    you can start with a free hosting or free blog like wordpress.com or blogger.com. try to get some funds from that free hosting. then you can upgrade to use your own paid hosting and domain name.:)

    Hey Superman123, here's what you need to do. First of all, use yahoo domains to register your domain for $1.99 (seriously), then find a free webhost. There are many webhosts that will host you for free in exchange for you placing a banner or something of the sort on your site. Google it.

    I think it's great that you're taking an interest at such a young age, people like you are going to take the internet and ecommerce to another level. Good luck!! :)

    I faced the same problem when I first started. I kick started with blogger, created a few niche blogs and then subscribed to AdSense. Later I hooked onto DP, sold a few links/posts and got a few quick bucks in my PayPal account!!! Once I had sufficient dollars, I opted in for a paid hosting package. You can find more details about hosting in DP itself... So follow these steps and get going...

    try
    co.cc

    or if you want a free sub-domain and a hosting too

    try blogger.co,

    Submit some articles to get enough for hosting and the domain.

    Then promote the site through article marketing and ramp that up.

    By then you can have about a hundred visitors a day with maybe a
    sale or two per visitor depending on the product.

    By that time you can start to re-invest profits into paid advertising.

    Once you get enough funds you can scale your efforts and with an
    optimized page you will be making big bills.

    That is a totally scaled down version of exactly what I did to build
    my first business.

    Youu could always do some work. Here at digitalpoint theres hundreds of job offers, or just random offers that take 1-2 mins and pay 2-3 dollars! You can eaily afford a domain and some hosting in 2 hrs work!

    You can have your website hosted for free at www.awardspace.com. They are not putting any ads on your site, but you are allowed to do so and earn the money.

    By the way, Godaddy.com sell info domains for 99cents.

    You have 2 options :
    1. If you're in rush and don't have a cent ... that's too bad, i feel sorry for you, BUT you can still have your own website , why on earth you don't use google for that ? try freewebs it is top listed, or blogger.com. Take a look also here : http://www.dot.tk, they offer free domain name
    2. What you can do the best for some cash ? Forum posts, article writing, cheap graphics ... you can make an easy 100$ per week if you are motivated and dedicated to your goal, then you can invest in a domain name & hosting. Join freelance website and bid lowest ( hit the jobs where are few ppl like you, where you will have a chance to win the project ), be honest with the buyers and they will apreciate :)
