Starting a personal website with no money?!?!

I'd like to start my own nice sized personal website. However, I have no funds to pay for hosting nor anything else of that nature.

So I was wondering if you guys might be able to hit me up with a few tips on how I can gather the funds to get it up. Or what type of stuff would be the best to start off with.

I'm 15 and this tuff isn't new to me, I've started websites before, but recently all my hosting and domains ran out, so I'm kinda starting out fresh again.


Any help would be great.

Try writing about a hobby or something, I write music reviews, I love music...

 

There are plenty of free hosts available if you want to choose a sub domain. Alternatively if you fancy a blog, blogger or wordpress host free blogs for you.

 

To earn some funds rather quickly, do little jobs for people, such as cheap graphics design, so a decent logo for a couple of pounds (or dollars) and then with a few of them, you can get enough for a couple of months hosting. Find coupons online for hosts to get deals such as 1 month free, or only X amount for the first 3 months.

Also, you could even try doing things offline like chores and the like, add money to your Paypal account (if you have one) and then work from there.

Do some freelance work on DP .. writing articles, logos etc, whatever you are good on

then use the money for hosting and domain : )) thats how alot of pple started out.

Design some layouts and sell them on or even do logo contests etc. You can also get hosting for free from quite a few places. Blogging is very good for a personal website and if you do go with Wordpress.com you'll have a customizable blog and you'll only need very little money to buy a domain.

 

Use geocities or free webs
Wordpress is also very good.

Go to the services and freebies section of DP.

You will make some quick and easy bucks.

Once you are able to make some money from free sources, then should switch to your own domain

Start with blogger, since its google and they rank better.

 

There are plenty of free web hosting especially offering blogging functions. (ie. blogger, wordpress etc)

Next is content. I would strongly advise you to post anything that related to what you love doing the most. What you're passionate off. Don't think of whether it will be popular or not. Just do it.. Because the key to be successful online is passion. You have only one life. So don’t spend a minute of it doing something you don’t love doing.
