Whatever you do, do not purchase the domain and the host from the same company. When the time comes and your domain/host is about to expire they will try and rip you off. I have used 'NameCheap' for domains, and a 'Falcoda' for hosting. I am very happy with both, very reliable.
My client ended up with getting everything from godaddy because he talked to the sales team and they were quite helpful. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I'll note the info and can use that in future.
