Starting a new site. Need your advice

I'll be helping a friend set-up a new site which he plans to put AdSense on. I plan of setting up the pages with the ads areas already in place. He doesn't have an Adsense account right now and it's ok for him if I temporarily put my AdSense code in the ads areas. Here's the dilemma:

    a. if we don't put the ads now, the visitors might see and feel the difference once the ads get popping left and right.

    b. if I place my AdSense code, Google might not approve his application.

What's the best thing to do. Thanks.

don't put your adsense ads! get google aprove the site.

don't make the ad spots, as google will think it is a made for adsense site. just add content to it and let google aprove it first!
    cheers!:D

Here's a tip about "visitors won't get use to the ad if you place it later". Place some filler text in the same format as the adsense ads and it'll be smooth transition for them :)

But wouldn't that make Google also think that it's MFA? Fillers on those spots would almost always look like ads. :(

This won't affect your application what so ever... honestly most sites applied are made FOR adsense..
