Hi Everyone, I have been a passive reader of this forum for a few years and thought I would take the opportunity to start something new. I know that most of us in the online merchant business is having problems getting our payments processed. Throughout the years I have helped clients to build websites only to fail in the business due to bad support in Payment Processing or worst yet not getting their payments at all. So after talking to some partners in banking, I am putting together resources to create a new Payment Processing Company. Instead of following the same standards like most payment processors, I would like to create the company based on modelling it after what a merchant needs. I would appreciate feedback in making this a success. Any critics and pointers would be greatly of use. Of course specially for DP users I would even give a special rate for helping out. Do let me know if I am allowed to do start the discussion or not if this is against any guidelines of DP. Thanks!
You need alot of money and a lot of reading, seems you don't know what it is you are exactly try to achieve!
Thanks for your comments but I am quite clear in what I am asking for. Every Payment company works differently with different terms. I have the foundation of providing payment services but since I am starting out new, I have the option of listening to what merchants wants and model the business from there. So I hope to hear comments especially from merchants who are having problems in processing currently or are having problems with getting a merchant account. My focus is definitely in the processing of high risk transaction whereby my banks has given me approval for albeit some terms I need to follow. By the way Fionix, thanks a lot to your company for consulting me in my offshore corporation setup 2 years ago.
Your welcome utuman From time to time similar questions like yours show up here and most often from people who don't have the basic in place i.e. Acquiring banks, payment gateway, capital and most important PCI compliancy... so that's the reason for my short answer. I'm glad to hear that you managed all this. Good luck to you.
