Starting a new Info & articles website - Does Adsense Revenue Sharing Worth anything?

Hi,

I am starting a new info & articles sharing website. I have planed to do 50-60% Adsense revenue sharing with the users that submit info & articles about anything they want.

Users will be able to submit, small infos, tips, software overviews, term definitions etc.

Now, my question is:

Does Adsense Revenue Sharing worth anything?
Will it result in new posts submission?
Will Adsense revenue sharing persuades users to submit posts?
Is there any harm of doing this???

I remember when revenue sharing was on DP I tried to post more threads haha. It encourages users to post more but in all honestly they won't earn much. It's not a bad idea to try and experiment with.

 

Hmm! I think you are right. But, article sites are different from forums. If you can write quality articles, I think you can earn much depending upon the traffic they receive!

Yes. A lot of sites are doing revenue sharing. Like HubPages, Xomba, indiastudychannel etc.

More people interested in adsense revenue sharing sites because of backlink not because of money. So make it easier to get backlink than to get money. just my experience.

 

You mean you can attract more content submissions if your site has a high pagerank and it is Dofollow than Adsense Revenue Sharing??

There's a huge list of revenue sharing sites. Post a comment to it so your site can get added.

It can be a great way for the site to get content, especially if you have good Editors to approve the articles. Other sites have done it and have been very successful.

 

I don't say that revenue sharing won't work, many of existing sites are working using this concept. It's just my experience. I have some steady revenue from this kind of website, but not much.... yet.
