Starting a new Forum in a niche without Advertisers

    Hi,

I'm planning to start a new forum, but the two niches I would go for don't have advertisers. I notice that my competitors only have ringtones, insurance and loan ads.

Is this possible to generate revenue in a niche like this?

    Thanks

    N

You could always sell your own related product, find products through CJ.com or have a premium membership where paying members get high quality content.

That's a start, but the forum will not be in English. Does CJ have foreign Advertisers?

But tell me, can sites only with Adsense without advertisers in their niche earn something.
Look to this example: A forum/site about furniture and Adsense will only show ringtones, hosting, loans, etc.
Does this site make any money from Adsense?

Sell ad space. There is a network out there that will help you find advertisers I just can remember the name.

I don't see any reason why you can't generate profit is you have a good traffic..

If you are not good at affiliate marketing then cj and all other such advertisers wont pay well
Rather sell your adspots if you have good traffic, banner and ppc ad spots managed by you-this can get better from sales spots at DP and many other webmaster forums
