Starting a new Forum, help needed...

    If i host a new forum on a freeware like Simply Machines and after 2-3 months i decides to go for a paid forum software like VBulletein, would i be able to shift data easily?

    yea that can be done easily as vbulletin has impex script which translate your forum to VB easily.

    Thanks for your help. As it will take atleast 3-4 months to generate decent traffic i was thinking to host on a freeware meanwhile but was confused on data transfer later on.
