My partner and I are planning to start a new family, but we don't have any property yet, like new house. Please give some advise on how to start up a new family.

First you both need to be financially stable.

Well..first, congratulations! It's a new chapter of your life.

Second, financial is an important part of our life, don't rush in to buy a property first, even though, it's a good time to buy now. Make sure you have enough saving before you buy a house, 'cause it's a long time commitment.
I see people buying a house with 5% down, after all, most of money you put in will go to interest. I'd suggest don't buy it yet until you have at least 20-30% down. And don't get a huge house the first time. The best way to do is, buy a small one like 2-3 bedroom, try to pay it off, then buy the next one. I have read many investment books, and all the experts say the same thing.

    Good luck to you!!

    congratulation!
    buying a property takes time.
you cannot simply buy something that you will regret later.
you must balance up between your needs and your financial status.
    otherwise, you will lose all.

first of all I want to congratulate both of you!
settling down & planning to settle is not an easy plan,
it takes courage & guts..lol seriously first you both have
to consider your emotions, are both of you already have
a fix mind on that, i mean on what you are entering to. Marriage
life is happy in the first months but as times goes hardships will come
that will test both of you how stable your emotions are. second to being
financial stable. You both can start renting a house, both of you can work
first then earn & save. It's a long process that needs determination & be goal
oriented, don't be afraid or shy to ask help to a family or relative.

    Hi there,

How wonderful that you are starting a family - I agree with some of the members here - you don't necessarily need to own a home to have a family - my husband and I had six kids and we have never owned a house - our children have left home now, but they always knew that home for them was where we were and in my opinion there are things like love, stability, honesty and caring in a relationship between you and your partner that are more important than whether or not you own a house.

Good luck to you - I honestly wish you well
    Lisa :)

    Congratulations!

It is always wise to invest on property first, specifically your home.

Yes, you have to be financially stable. There are some lending institutions that are now available if you really want to have a house. It is not necessary that you pay them the whole amount. If you both have a job or business, you can pay them soon. But most especially, you must be ready to face the new stage of your life.

umm i can suggest looking for a nice property near a sewage or some other fowl smelling place and grow weed ( the surrounding smell will help ) and in 12 months you could buy 2 houses.

Hi MoneyNowUsa09, its good decision to ask for opinion. Buying a property not just easy as 1-2-3.
First you have to ask yourself if you can afford buying new house.
You also have to choose a place that is accessible.:)
