Im starting my own affiliate network this month and it should be up and running hopefully by September 1st. Is there any advice you guys can give in terms of aquireing good affiliates and weeding out the bad ones? Or just any advice at all? Thanks
which countries are you targeting, do you have any clients to launch with, what are your USP's? tell us more about the network and I will let you know what affiliates want
I will initially be targeting US based affiliates. As of now I have a few affiliates who are interested. I will start aquiring advertisers once the site becomes functional which should be next week. Initially the advertiser list will be based on what the affiliates want to promote.
provide worldwide exclusive offers good payouts good referral payment be loyal/genuine Variety of payment options - check, wireless, paypal etc.
I'll do checks, paypal and ACH. Payment terms will be Net 30/15/5 depending on how much your payment is.
I'm happy to see competition but I'm curious as to why an advertiser would pick a up start up affiliate network over one that is already established with thousands of affiliates. As an affiliate, I'll join any network if they have one advertiser whose products really fit my niche well and will fill a hole in my offerings with a product that I can make a decent return from. But how do you get an advertiser into your camp?
Thats the thing, Initially our advertiser list will be built primarily around the needs of our affiliates. We will also try to match or beat any payout you might be getting elsewhere if possible. After affiliates are taken care of we will pull in more advertisers so that we can provide a more diverse list of offers for new and existing affiliates.
hmmm nice lets see what it will become and i hope this is going to come and stay and not come and go!
Im not really sure why networks find the need to hold on to your money if you've generated less than the minimum.
You should get an affiliate tracking software to track all you affiliate. That way you won't be paying for service from Clickbank, cj and others like them.
