I am jumping on the bandwagon and starting a new link campaign. We have not been doing anything really to get links up to this point so I am starting from scratch. I have done some research on this topic but what I am really in need of is some examples of e-mails that you send to companys asking for a link exchange or a one way link. My site has an OK page rank so I would like to get some one way links but I'm simply not sure what the best way to ask is. Any examples or help is greatly appreaciated. Thanks.
One method I use is http://www.linkalizer.com. Webmasters sign up and it lets you exchange links with other companies wanting to get more links to their site. Totally free service as well. If you can get 1 very high PR link then this could be worth thousands of low PR links.
I've used axandra in the past; it does okay. Lately, I've been doing searches on my own too, though and those have been a lot better (found some nice related sites that I could buy links on for like $20/month pr 6 and such).
I prefer not to pay for links. Although I wouldn't mind paying for the likes of the Yahoo Directory and other big directory sites.
Most all of my thoughts are gathered at How do I get links to my web page? Of all of the linking services, LinkMarket has done the best for me.
I signed up for linkalizer. We'll see what happens. If anyone's interested in linking straight out, visit here.
So how is everyone keeping track of there link parterners. Are spreadsheets a good idea or is there something better?
I have been trying Alreis They have a 30 day free trial it seems to be working well. It has a lot of tools you may want to check it out
linkmarket has a good base but it very time consuming to go thru all the steps linkexchanged in faster but they only have like 1500 sites
