I think that the field of hosting companies is over saturated...

Buy a reseller account or get a dedicated server
Buy Management services if its dedicated server. You can get it for as low as $22/month(from me)
Provide reliable service so that the clients which come to you dont get away after 1 or 2 months
    etc etc

I dont want to sell you hosting nor I force you.

I just suggest that we can manage your server for $22 compared to others like $30-$100

I took a look at the sites in your sig, I think running a hosting service is something you can do. It isn't really that hard. You just need a niche, an angle... Referrals from people in real life is also a good way to grow your hosting business.

Though I guess there is the issue of time, it takes a lot of it, so you should outsource wisely..

It depends on whether your aiming to be small or large. Small is easy in my opinion as you can just use Paypal and resell other people's services. With large you are expected to offer real credit card processing and use a dedicated server which is when things get more complicated (if it's the first time of course). But everything in life has a learning curve, so get stuck in!

You could start with reseller hosting.
