Starting a forum questions...

    Well, I am currently looking into starting a forum for my own reasons, and I am going to use PHPBB2 because of all the various ad-ons it has for it.

    But I have no idea where I need to start. I know I need to buy a domain, thats no problem. But how do i get it to redirect to the forum, and where do I put the forum in the first place? FTP? If so, what do I need to do to direct those two together.

    Sorry, i know nothing about PHP, so ANY help is gratified.

    You may consider hiring somebody to install the forum for you, most people will do it for $5-10.

    If you have no experience with hosting, databases, etc. I do not suggest you try and install it yourself.

    If you get a domain, and hosting, then in the fantastico section, is phpbb.
    Few clicks, and it is installed where you want it.

    Simplest thing in the world!
