Starting a Cyber Cafe

I'm sure almost all of you know what a cyber cafe is, just a place where people can come in and game on some awesome computers for an hourly rate.

Has anyone considered doing this and calculating out all the costs and floor plans and whatnot? I have just started doing this recently, I think a cyber cafe mixed with a Hookah Bar has potential.

I finally found an investor but it's limited to about $100,000. I live in Northern VA about 20 minutes from the capital, people around here are paid pretty well and most the kids have lots of money. I am curious about other people's experience, any ideas, if you think it's worth it, and if anyone has crunched the numbers.

    Hookah Bar whats that?

I have a few around my small town , in UK where i live , they make some nice money , most do memberships where people get like 30 hours a week or more for a set discounted price of the hourly rate.

If you can plain it out well , and there is not many Cyber Cafes where you live you can prolly make a nice chunk of profit from it.

Hookah bars is where people sit around and smoke shisha (flavored tobacco) out of a bong-like vase with tubes attached called a "Hookah". There are a few hookah bars around here and they make decent money.
There aren't many Cyber Cafe in the area and it's been about 6 years since I've last been in one. I need to go visit some to find out what they're charging and to take a look at the layout of the stores. Any idea what their website is and what they charge for those 30/hr memberships?

It’s going to cost a lot but it’s probably worth it. I have a friend who’s into cyber café and his business is doing quite well. He was able to profit a lot that he put up another cyber café in another part of town. I envy him. Cyber café is great for business especially with your location where there are lots of kids . You should continue with your plan.

They're pretty common in Canada. Tons of cyber sex with games.
