First of all , i welcome you here karan . Im BooTCaT , and i run www.rani-mukharji.com , Fan site of Rani Mukherjee the bollywood fame . Initially , i was like you , and started the site , for money ( and earned $0.50 per 3 days ) . I used to browse the tutorials , do SEO , buy links and maintain the site for money . But gradually , being with internet, i was changing , and was running the site out of interest and this wholy brought new links to my site . My users were liking the site , and were coming back again to visit and enjoy the site , and download her photos . i was offering them nice news and polls were used to engage my users . And now in Adsense alone , i am earning better ( though i dont consider it ) . I designed and ran the website using Wordpress , Gallery for photos , and decent site for putting the whole things in one place . So , any site , can make you money . and i will help you in putting together a celebrity site , if you want to run a celeb site only .

Karan, Celeb blogs mostly show up in search engine results, or gain readers through linking to each other. If you've got some good gossip or celeb photos, you can be pretty sure of a few links. Check out http://egotastic.com, it's a big celeb blog that has plenty of traffic. They have AdSense all over the place, but I've no idea of their earnings. You can check roughly what sort of bids are being made on celeb key- phrases (like "Britney Spears" for example) by using the Overture keyword tool. uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/
