Starting a blog about your daily life. Is it worth it?

Hey guys thinking of starting a blog about my daily life, plus extra tip's top 10s and other life style, life hack things. Is it even worth doing it or just focus on few categories?

It is better to focus on certain niche if your blog is still new.

It is up to you what niche you would like to have for your blog.

You can share your daily lifestyle as that will be your personal blog.

However, if you would like to earn some money via blogging, you need to have a plan, start learning SEO, etc.

Is there a specific hobby or interest you have? You can always write about that. That would allow you to focus on a certain niche.

 

Depends how interesting your daily life is, if you just get up have a dump and spend your days fapping along to internet porn all day then no-one's going to be interested .
According to your profile you are 18 years old, how much do you think you know about life and "life hacks"?

 

It depends on your daily routine. If you are a traveler and love to explore new places then it will be a good idea to post about your experiences.

 

If you are new at this area and you want to gather experience in blogging and as a writer I don't see anything wrong to start a blog about your personal life. Think about what you can share with your target audience. Do you have interesting stories to tell or something that will help people to solve their problems? Of course, once you start a blog like this you can expand it later - with new topics and articles. And then you can put your personal stories into "About me"- category.

 

I would suggest against making the blog about your life - unless your life is somehow interesting. Sure, some people do eke out a living out of blogs that are basically about their daily lives, but they are usually in at least somewhat unusual circumstances. Writing about your experiences at 18 seems like a tough gig as well - basically, whatever you might think, you probably don't have any yet (at least interesting ones - and don't take this personally, this is just a generalization).

I agree with the previous posters - find a niche. I would add that it should be something you are passionate about, otherwise you are going to run out of steam very quickly. Maybe you are really into flying drones? Start a blog about that. Cooking Vietnamese cuisine? Start a blog about that. And so on.

 

Here's an idea. Take up a course. Any course. Just ask Uncle Google for sites which offer courses online for free. Then each day, study. After that, write about what you have learned and post it on your blog. That works in two ways. One, it will help you to recapitulate what you have learned. Two, it will provide content for your blog.

Is that interesting?

That's hard to say. However, if you can pique the interest of just one-hundredth of one percent of the people surfing the Web every day, you have a big audience.

 

Don't expect to make money with a personal blog.

 

All that really matters is that if there's any value that you are giving to the end user? If it's about your life; is your life interesting enough to appeal to mass audiences?

 

That might work if u come up with strong debate discusion or very good topics to discus there, u must give some info about someting or so,
recounting your life to others...... is not rly interesting if you are not a superstar

 

It is very difficult to make a straight answer. It seems that your blog should be "authority type blog". Daily life, tips on daily life or daily life hack would be some good idea. Try to do some research through google keyword planner, you will get more versatile keywords for your blog. For writing, if you start from the concept of daily life, personal lifestyle - definitely these would be a good start.

 

O.k. you and your "ma" are new to the forums. So who exactly is this daily blog going to be about, you or your mother?

 

One of the best ways for blogging with content is to create all your stuff and put into a network which can make you money with. While building your content, you can then bring them to a blog or website for re-arranging the content created by you in a money making network system.

Hence, not only you can make money, at the same time you are building content you're interested in sharing with the people of the world. From there, you'll automatically build-up your visitors base of which they would join you to make money online.

It really depends. It would be a good idea if there is something interesting in it. Putting a Top 10 list could help. As people said, find out first who is your audience and what are their interests. That would make your blog more successful.

 

How about something you love to do that people might find interesting, like cooking or traveling, something like that.
