Starting a anime streaming website

Hey guys i just started an anime video streaming website http://www.watchnewanime.byethost31.com/ I dont have money for a host so ya. But I need a team *that can help me for free* to help me. I want to make the website look professional like animeseason or animefreak or animefuel. Can anyone help what kind of plat form they use or what kind of stuff they use. Im new to this!

Dude you need 3 things that you lack :

#1 Server Power

#2 Licenses for the shows and software

#3 Money to finance a team and promote the website

Otherwise you'll fail and/or get yourself in jail .

 

How u get the licenses? And why jail?

 

Save up for a shared server account its pretty cheap.

Be careful with "free" sites. Get too big or mainstream and you might find all your work down the drain.

Nothing as extreme as jail, as some have scared you with, but you will lose a lot, I'm telling you. All of it could be shut down in a day.

 

Then what kind of site should i use to make? And How i get the lincese for the anime? Which platform should I use?

 

Please stop making these anime streaming websites. I am a webmaster of an anime blog and I really hate it when people want to start a streaming website. Most of the streaming and read manga online websites are illegal. Except those like Crunchyroll etc.

Most anime streaming websites don't have permissions to stream the anime from company X. It's about copyright.... of course some get a lot of traffic and earn a lot with ads, but its not fair stealing someone else work and destroying the whole anime industry little by little. No much people will buy original blu-ray or DVD disc if they already seen it on streaming website X.

 

Mmmmmm. It seems like your right. But I really want to make an anime website. And anime blog it not really my thing. It hard to get a lot of traffic just to make an anime blog. Can i see your blog?

 

Well if you have unique content, visitors will come eventually or at least a small part of the traffic will return. But I admit that it is hard to build up traffic. It is also hard to write articles daily or come up with good stuff to write about. It will be a lot easier if you have friends joining you in managing the blog and writing articles.

MMmmmm I might make a blog! How did u design your website? It looks really good and how did u build your traffic? Did u put adsense or anything?

 

It's a custom Wordpress theme that is based on an existing free Wordpress theme. Google never approved my banner design, so I never used Google to advertise the website. Social media is the key for me if it comes to promoting my website! Sometimes I also promote with business cards at anime conventions or anime/japanese pop culture clubs. However things like SEO, social media etc. are ok, but keep in mind that "content is king" if you have good content, people will link to your website or come back too you. I have seen too many bloggers focussing too much on SEO and social media, while forgetting about writing good content.

 

Can you send me the free wordpress theme that u use and how can u slide pictures?

 

There are plenty of them, but seriously don't remember the name of that theme that I used for inspiration. If you are not really a designer or developer, you may use a pre build theme. animevisual . com has some Wordpress themes for free. You may use one of those.

If you know a little photoshop, little css, little html, little javascript...its enough to make a Wordpress theme. You don't have to be a php guru for that.

I don't recommend my host to anybody. Actually I hate this webhost. I am planning to move my website to Hostgator in the future. A VPS or dedicated is a little expensive for me.

 

Well i dont have money for a host so im only getting a domain i guess if that possible!

 

Shared hosting is the only option in that case. I'm currently using shared hosting too

 

Shared Hosting? What that? Seems like i cant it on google!
