Well I've read a lot of threads in the past few days on how to market stuff so I think I've come up with a plan that could work. Feedback would be great. 1) Choosing my product (or niche, your choice) that I can relate too and qualifies as a "good" product by meeting my requirements which are; at least $20 a sale, Gravity 20-50, and refered rate is 40 and below. Next 2) Find three niches that meet those standards and write a quality article for each of them. 3) Send the articles to directories like EZA etc. (I found a list of a lot of them here http://www.vretoolbar.com/articles/directories.php ) Also I'll place them in various forums that relate to the products topic. So that's the article marketing part, I've also read a little bit about Search Engine Optimization where I choose keywords and rank high for them. For SEO, I'll do something a little different. 1) Take the 3 articles and find the least competitive long tail keywords with google's addurl. I'll shoot for keywords in the range of "1-10 of about 17". hopefully that's reachable. It kind of is because before I wrote articles on ringtones and found long tail keywords that we barely contested like that example. Anyway, that's my plan so far, what do you guys think?
For article marketing, the main thing is to write as many quality articles as you can and submit to as many article databases (everyday). Focus in on a tight set of keywords (long tail or otherwise). Also look at hanging out in your niche's forums and helping people out. And if the forum permits, putting a link to your article(s) in your siggy. Hope that helps. Good luck!!
