Hi, I'm just getting into reading more about making money through the internet, and right now I'm a student (with a girlfriend), so obviously I'm on a budget (aka poor). Right now, I'm just looking for a way to get off the ground and make an extra $75 or so a week. What are some pretty secure ways of doing this? Right now my thoughts lean towards a myspace train site that can get a lot of traffic, and just make some money with Adsense or something of that sort. Any help is MUCH appreciated, and remember, I'm not trying to make millions (or thousands) yet, I'm looking to just make about $300 a month. Thanks a ton.
Where are you from? Try to think of anything what's pretty cheap and abundant in your area that might be of interest to somebody on the other half of the globe, and figure out a way to sell it - that's one thing. Another might be a unique service you could render based on your acquired skills - the Earth is large and I bet there might be somebody out there in need of your service - that's another option.
What do you study? If your thoughts are leaning to myspace, get a train script for $10, buy a legitimate myspace account or bulletins, spam like hell, and your on your way to $10/day.
You've set a realistic goal, which shouldn't be too difficult to achieve with a little work. Just don't expect your first site to immediately generate $10 a day. If it does that's great; go celebrate or something. If not, don't give up right away. Many sites take awhile before they warm up. However it turns out, use it as a learning experience for future projects.
Hey there supernova, since you are a broke student, you can start promoting affililate products. You can just do a google search on affiliate programs and there are 1000's of them avaiable. Since you are new, choose something you like to do (like a hobby) and promote that. I suggest you promote an information product b/c alot of them doesn't cost money to join (good for you) and you get paid good commissions. Find a product that pays you at least 25% , and i suggest you try out the product before promoting it, b/c a lot of affiliate programs require to have a money back guarantee and you've just wasted your time promoting a dud. So: 1. Find an affiliate product you are familiar with 2. Find an affiliate product that pays at least 25% 3. Make sure it is a quality product that's the cheapest way i can think of to make some extra dough online and impress your girlfriend with your newfound fortune of $75/week
You could start an original blog with your girlfriend - nothing sexual, just something fun, quirky and extremely viral. If you come up with a good idea, you don't have to 'work' so hard trying to make money on the Internet. Pete
hey, i'd have to agree with ebizalan. if you're on a low budget then affiliate marketing is a great way to go and if done right can also produce profitable results.
Hi now its almost 2009 and you are making 6 figures online every month... No. Try affiliate marketing this will work better for you. Ok SUP3RNOVA just visit Confessions Of A Super Duper Affiliate There you will find ton of help. That guy is an excellent teacher and expert in ppc marketing. Ask him whatever you want. Wow. Love the honesty Dropshipping is great because you just need a website (if you can make one yourself this can be VERY cheap) - then you sell products from suppliers, then the suppliers ship them straight to the customers. You can make big margins doing this with just an hour or so a day online sorting it out!
