Started an adwords campain but need some advice

It says its active but im getting no impressions and no clicks some of the keywords im using are traffic,targetted traffic so whats the problem?

 

It takes a while for it to update, give it some time. It is also Memorial Day so the search volume will probably be lower then normal. In some cases if the terms are too targeted, they might have a very low search volume.

 

If the ads are new, they won't show anywhere but the Google site itself until an editor reviews the ads. That limits distribution by a huge amount.

The other big factor is your daily budget. If it's low, Google shows the ads less often, even if you're not actually getting near the budget.

 

Did you check or notice your estimated position for your keywords?

 

Did you bid enough? If you have a low bid for high paying keyword it won't show up except on page 3000.

also, did you notice the estimated traffic for your campaign when you added keywords?

 

Estematesd traffic is based on current advertisers...So it's not based on ther results

 

It will take 24-48 hours for stats to show up. If not try bidding more or changing your keywords

 

The stats update less frequently as you drill down into more detail (account > campaign > ad group > keyword). But, at worst, the campaign and ad group stats update several times a day.
