    Hi

I'm a "new member", and I was trying to post a thread in buy/sell part of the forum last week ago. I got the message that I had no access.

Now, I believe yesterday, I tried again and I suddenly had access. So I created the thread and posted it. However I can see it when I put in this URL:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5123210

Yet it doesn't appear on the forum or in my started threads via my profile...?
And nobody responded yet, so I think something went wrong. How can this be?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If it's not in your profile, it must have been deleted

Day before yesterday, I think, there was a minor DB glitch. Maybe you lucked out.

That second post would be considered a "bump" and might get you an infraction. Always use the edit feture when you need to add more information or wait until you get a reply and add it to your reply. Because of abuse this "bumping" rule is being strictly enforced at the current time.

    Best wishes.

    Thanks Colbyt for your reaction.

Well nobody sees the thread in the forum, but you can view the link i posted... Weird :p
Maybe an admin can close this thread, and I'll open a new one when I am allowed to do so.

Thanks for noting the "bumping" thing, will take that into account!

    Well that's the thing, I don't know! But I guess I wasn't supposed to.

I can still open a new thread, but I believe I read somewhere that your account needs to have a certain amount of posts (that I have) and you need to have an account that's 20 days old. And that I don't have, yet.

    .... so what's the dealio :p

I have 10 posts and 3 threads missing from the day before when that glitch happened.

Oh well i am sure i can repost them.

Your not the only person with a problem.

Hmkay, but where do I get the "old" thread closed so that I can do a proper re-post?

yes. I lost a thread too.

bad part is that it was an auction in a BST section and I don't remember who won - I will have to start a thread again..
