I have done On Page but traffic is decreasing, i need to get more traffic. My products are really good but sale is decreasing. How do i work to get good sale. Please give me some suggestion for http://thespotteddoor.com/
A bad user experience? The site is slow to load (even after the initial load it is painfully slow), and this is a ranking factor. So optimise the site as much as possible. You're over the top with images. Also, I need to hover over and see prices. Where are the reviews? And so on. Spend some time studying Amazon as they do tons of stuff right and important information is clearly visible before clicking through. Fix your site (the design needs a total overhaul, including making it responsive - this could be up to 50-60% of traffic you are missing out on/alienating). I suggest you stop by Moz.com and read articles in their blog (including the UGC blog) about optimising and marketing ecommerce sites. Then spend time on social media getting involved with recycling communities and individuals with interests in it, marketing yourself to them and so on. (No, not spamming it, but establishing a legitimate presence and following.) Good luck.
By "where are the reviews" I meant you must encourage customers to review products they have purchased. Some services/shops constantly spam asking for a review, which is a bad idea. It's better to offer an incentive, such as x% or $x off their next purchase, for example. Of course, you want some minimum requirements such as "50 words minimum". Don't make it too high though or too long as you will end it with, "it's nice blah blah". A bad idea to place fake reviews, too. Make sure it is easy to ask a question about a product and display customer questions and answers on the product page, as it's surely useful to everyone else. (Make it optional, but opted in by default, that customer questions are publicly viewable.)
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http://thespotteddoor.com Most of those issues are host related. However, Ryan is correct, it has a range of usability issues, no info, no ethos, totally confusing navigation and so on. It basically looks like someones portfolio. hope that helps, Nigel
thankyou for sharing that tool. Not much he can do about the server speed, as it looks like he is with godaddy.
I am a bit confused by what exactly you means? Can you give a few examples of what you means by that?
