Hello i recently started www.teenstalkmoney.com on November 2nd. I know it's only new but i have 22 members and over 230 posts. I'm wondering how easy will it be to get 50 members before christmas? How do i work out thinks like visitors per day etc and if i have to use a program can someone explain how to install it please?

Also what do you think of my design? i will be changing the bubbles to pound signs but is the green navbar too bright?

Thanks for any help you can give i really appreciate it, it's my first forum, i know i'm a novice but i couldn't resist as i know it can be hard for teens to make money so i had to get people together to help each other. :)

    Analytics.

If it's by wordpress, use a plugin.

If it's hand-coded, insert the code with notepad.

Yep, Google Analytics is your best bet. I would suggest doing a little bit of blog commenting to try to build up a buzz around your forum, it sounds like a good idea for a forum.

Well i heard about the google thing but my forum is by vbulletin and there doesn't seem to be any guides on using it with vb, don't want to mess my forum up with doing it without a guide.

Thanks for the help, any registrations would be greatful.:)

Put the Analytics code into your footer template. It's as easy as that.

Design is decent. I'd suggest getting a banner up there.

Also, you started off with tons of forums. I'd suggest starting small and adding forums as the forum grows. Keep in mind it may take years for the forum to grow. I went from 0-300 members one year, to over 1,000 the next, and I am now nearing 3,000 on the third year. Don't give up, just keep working at it. Give people a reason to sign up, give something that teens would want. Buy some advertising on teen-related sites. MySpace may be a good platform to advertise on too. Good luck.
