I started a new business and it's only been a week or two and I've only got 10-11 sales in total, I try my best to keep budget down and use vouchers for advertising, posting all over other sites, youtube, forums etc (without breaking certain borders) to create back links and I'm using Facebook for PPC. I even have a Facebook fan page with over 700 almost 800 people in less then 1 month yet I can't get that many sales not even the Facebook fans will purchase yet they seem to be moderately active on the Facebook fan page. What else can I do? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or am I just being inpatient? What about crawlers I have so many errors when I check with webmaster tools is that the reason I'm hardly popping up in google ranks? How do I get ranked higher on the search engine? Also non related question but how do companies offer such cheap shipping like I see other people offering the same product and shipping for free or even $5 the cheapest I can get shipping for is $8-10 and there's no way I would be able to offer free shipping as this is a low profit product and I rely mainly on high sales. Is there anything wrong with my site? Hi, I had a look at your site. First it's too slow on loading and try to rank for these keywords gatsby moving rubber,gatsby and I did notice that you rank number 1 for gatsby wax. Try doing some edu links. For the shipping, it might be that the other sites are sellling in large numbers which is making up for the free shipping or have found a very cheap source to do their shipping. To get higher ranking, you will need to get quality backlinks like edu, gov and links from good forums. Another thing you can do is 2.0 web sites and just offer some good content. I also noticed that they are very few people writing articles on gatsby wax. So you could write some articles and see what happends. You could also do local search as in to rank locally. Trying going as a customer and see what shipping company they are using or just call them and ask. Pretending to be an interesed customer. If you have any questions let me know.

How can I rank for those keywords, like I don't know what else I can do I've been changing my title to relevant product names that I'm selling such as the Gatsby Moving Rubber. What do you mean edu links and gov links? Where would I go and how would I do this? The problem with good forums is that most of these forums have a lot of flamers and I already tried to put my site up there (reading rules first) and some users are bashing me saying my site looks shady however I know my customers want my trust and I must earn that but there trying to black list me and I have not done business with them and what do they expect for a website that just came up like 1-2 weeks ago and that's why I try to stay away from some forums, but I have been advertising on related social groups like on bebo, facebook etc. What are 2.0 websites and what is good content? How would I write an article about my product I would see if it was a service it would be easier. Also do you know anything about crawlers and how would you get them to crawl external pages because I want them to crawl all my products so those external links get showed in google getting my rank higher? What do you think about those websites that offer submission to 300 or even 500,000 search engines and directories?
you can also try video submissions as well as article submissions. but the best way to improve your sales is to target keywords that is related to your website by optimizing your webpages and get a high rankings from search engines.
Your shipping is 8 bucks for something so small? You just need SEO. If you think articles work then go for it, I think it is pointless though. Web 2.0 sites are basically authority sites that utilize a lot of features.
Yeah that's what I keep debating about like Canada Post (courier I use) is charging me $8.00 for shipping that takes 1-2 weeks without a tracking number but includes $100 insurance.

SEO is one of the way to push your site and draw traffic. Article submission or directly choose keywords to your site may helps you. Keywords research is one of the main key to open up your site. Too low competition or too high may affect the sales of your site. After choosing keywords, try to do some backlinks on it, make sure they are indexed, will be more helpful. How much time does it take because one of the big keywords for my business is "gatsby moving rubber" and I only rank on the second page either 4th or 5th and I rank 1st for gatsby wax. How can I rank higher in search engines with my keywords?
