Start small and build to avoid ban in Adsense ?

The question is more for others than myself.

I've had Adsense for a full year. Just happened that I added numbers of ads, and added pages with ads incrementally.

My son put them on a site he had for a while - RPG - and got banned. I think he built huge and fast.

Anyone suspect that if results are too good out of the starting gate, that it can have backlash?

You get banned for bad traffic. This is traffic that comes from paid sites or traffic exchanges. Click fraud and not following terms. You can make as many sites as you wnat and as fast as you want.

when my site was about a month old, getting 100 visitors per day or less, it was mentioned on a big-time radio show - traffic jumped up to 10k or more visitors for one day.. then, when the podcast of the radio-show came out a few days later traffic jumped to about 2,000 - 3,000 per day for the next week or so... caused me no problems..
It's the quality of your traffic as well as the quality of your site that matters..

I recommend to just build as many sites as you can within a short period of time and stick adsense on.

That's what I do with proxies, and I have yet to be banned.

    Okay.

Part of my curiousity was due to a thread where someone asked about putting adsense on, and his stats showed huge existing traffic.

I just wondered if he started Adsense and Google saw his site making an instantaneous $50 to $100 a day, if it wouldn't raise their hair.

So if it's legit traffic - that's the important part, you say... ;)

I've created my lyrics website from the scratch. I only put it online when I had 110.000 song lyrics. And all those pages had adsense. I was suspended once, but for invalid clicks :D , not for spamming or anything like this.

Google has good enough ways to track the traffic and judge if its legit or not, so unless you are trying some thing that is not allowed by TOS, you need not worry.

Bottom line is, if you legit you're ok with google...if you do any kind of fraud you should worry...

i don't thing google should have any problem with traffic. Month ago I advertised my blog in local newspaper for a 3$ and got around 60K visitors for last month. But my google acc is safe. Google just don't ban you for earning more money. They will ban you when you follows some bad and evil roots to earn money

As long as you don't break the TOS I think you have nothing to worry yourself about =)!
