Start on phpBB move to vBulletin?

I'm thinking of starting a website up and having a forum on the website. Instead of spending the $120 on a vBulletin license (used)... has anyone started with phpBB and moved up to vBulletin using the database upload feature vBulletin has?

Any thing you have noticed that were not good? From how the transfer went to what the members thought?

    Thanks :)

I did the same thing and so do many other forum owners. No major problems doing the move.

No problem with this. vBulletin importer(ImpEx) makes all that very easy.

Yep, impex all the way. It's very easy and the vb team will talk you through the move when it's time. It all depends on if you have the money right now to invest, if you have the scrilla, then go vb from the start, IMO!
