I was at the gym the other day and somehow started talking to this guy who starts companies, ranks them well and sells them. I was very intriqued by the conversation because he said his whole structure of seo was based on a blog network he had of around 500 blogs. He has 8 employees. He said, if you own the blog and insert the focus keyword in the title, meta title and anchor text, you can gain a lot more credibility from google than just bookmarking or directory submission. Obviously I am not ready to start a 500 blog network, but services like MAN or Linkvana promise highly sought after results for a pretty penny but they can delete your posts after ages. Do you think I should shift my current writing, submission and rewriting efforts towards assembling a small network of blogs focused on my topic? Michael
Don't you think there are already plenty of blog networks out there? Â Why not instead do consulting work where you help people to leverage existing blog networks to increase their traffic and reach.
hi mg3hockey I guess it depends a lot on temperament, check if you have such temperament to run a blog network. Moreover it needs a lot of commitment, focus and hard work. For example you have to build high quality and high PR blogs to get people attracted to your network. As far as the revenue is concerned, yes you can make some good profits but you have to prove yourself better than others. Â
It's great and you can find a lot of resources and fiancees to do that, hope for your success and do great!
