First of all write some quality content and buy some quality links for your blog. Post about 3 articles a day, unique !

I want to know who did you see making big figures from blogging? Second define big because it is very subjective.

I think blogging is probably the worst source of making money online right now. Because unless you are established and have a good amount of readership, you won't get there. If by any chance you were talking about John Chow then let me tell you that he worked his ass off on it for a few years before he got there same with other blogs.

People are getting into blogging with the thought of making quick big bucks but there is not a concept of quick big bucks in any online industry.

Just be careful what you read, and don't get swallowed up in all the hype.. set realistic expectations.. read my articles on this and my experience to date.. it might put things in perspective..

I think the whole business is built upon Hype, its the philosophy of blogging
I think if you like practical and reality you should go SEO or PPC way

Trust me if I could blog all day I would but its going to take time. You won't make much in the beginning. Content is great and all but I would spend 80% of my time marketing. Because if know one knows about your site then trust me no one will ever see your 3 unique post daily.

One thing I will say is you need to read the posts carefully. The second url you put above. Read it carefully. Not money that he made from his blog. It is the money that he made from all of his sites combined.

I am not being negative. I am just telling you the truth. Ask anyone genuine in this industry and they will tell you that. You can not make quick bucks from your blog unless you are already famous in the industry.

90 readers in 2 months is not a success. To tell you the truth 90 readers is not even a big number. To make big money you need subscribers in thousands. The second site once again point out how much problogger makes and shoemoney and others. Problogger have 66000 subscribers. Shoemoney didn't make all that adsense check from his blog just to let you know. It was from his ringtone site.

Top Affiliate Marketers like Zac Johnson also didn't make 800k yahoo check from his blog. He made it from a myspace resource site. If you ever meet these guys and talk to them they will tell you. I have seen them in conferences that is why I am telling you this.

Hopefully you don't take offense to anything I said. I am just trying to show a realistic approach to this argument.

Funny thing is, some of those guys making 'big' money don't seem to have too much 'quality' in their content

@eseller: Thanks for mentioning my blog here. Honestly making money blogging is a long journey. I was lucky because I was graduated from Blog Mastermind blog mentoring course of Yaro Starak. My suggestion is to take blogging seriously at the very beginning, and join blog mentoring courses like Blog Mastermind. It is worth spending every penny.

You can also consult me anytime. I will be glad to share my experiences with you anytime. My blog is based on my own blogging experience. I first try out a product or a service, and if I believe it adds value to all bloggers, I post about it. You may read my blogging story from here: Mert Erkal's Story

I agree with you, but there is multiple types of blogging many people start a network of blogs in different niches like the second site I gave

and for the measure of success 66000 readers is unachievable for everyone, those guys use digg and social media tools to get there. not every body can do that, also am new to this and don't know how much will 90 readers make, I compare it to other blogs, and I see many blogs who have about 1000 or less claim to make money online

for me I am can say I am in the right road when I see some money from blogging.

Blogging when one done with the sole aim to make a quick buck is bound to fail....

One should always have this genuine feeling and desire of sharing his views on various things with others candidly. He should also be able to put his views across to his readers well...

Consider monetary gains as the by-product in the whole process.

    Regards,
