Oh...thanks for correcting my mistake It is on openvz. Burstable RAM will be double the guarantee RAM
Both are able to run Linux ostemplate. Xen will separate the resource right on the edge. For example 512MB RAM is you get 512MB RAM, you will not have burstable RAM. Your system make use your HDD as a swap mamory. You have to allocate space for swap. For openvz, you can use more then your allocation memory / guarantee RAM only when unuse server RAM is avaialble. When unuse server RAM is not available, you only can use up to max of your guarantee RAM. I have my explain answer your question.
