Hello everyone, I have an idea I would like to share for starting a subscription site on zero budget. It would work best for those with a decent grasp of Internet marketing, but a dedicated newbie could likely pull it off as well with a little bit of guidance.

Usually subscription sites cost a decent amount of knowledge and budget to launch, but I found this site which will allow you to effectively create your own membership site. Best of all, you can communicate with your subscribers within the system, almost like your personal social network. The system is still in development, but it is in decent enough shape to make it work just fine. In actuality, it isn’t even developed for this specific use it is a very broad platform, and will actually work well.

The idea is that you have 100% control of your network, and who you give access to. Once you have signed up, all you need to do is figure out what sort of subscription you will be providing to people, and what it includes. Maybe it involves access to eBooks and videos. Maybe it is a subscription service, and people subscribe to be able to ask you for advice. Whatever the case, spend some time carefully planning and gathering the necessary materials that make up your subscription, and then post them to your account for subscribers to access. Sign up for Stream

Once your product is packaged and ready to go, it is time to start signing people up. The advantage of this system is that you can create many different sales pages, experiment with advertising, pricing and more. For accepting payments, Paypal will allow you to set up reoccurring billing with no upfront costs. Whenever someone has signed up, just add them to your Stream, and they will get access to your products. Not exactly a revolutionary concept, but an easy way to build a long term stream of income on a zero budget.

    Some Subscription Possibilities:

    1. Coaching- Internet marketing, sports, poker, dating, tons of possibilities
    2. PLR Products, Resale Rights Products, etc.
    3. Subscription only Blog
    4. Offline Business Services - Coaching, Ongoing Website Help, Email Marketing, etc.
    5. Ongoing IT Tech Support and Help
    6. Professional Advice- Legal, Real Estate, Investment

    Places to Find Subscribers:

    1. Forums- Digital point and Internet marketing is likely oversaturated, but other niche forums could be goldmines.
    2. eBay- Write a bunch of different sales letters for your subscription service, and test different pricing and auction listings. Watch out for TOS!
    3. Craigslist- Very easy to build a list and find people to reach out to for direct sales opportunities
    4. Mini Websites, free and resale eBooks with ads, all the usual stuff
    5. Affiliates
    6. Cold Calling – Get leads from Sales Genie
    7. Social Networks- For the right type of product, this could be a gold mine
    8. Word of Mouth- If your subscription and service is top notch, the word of mouth growth is what will take you to the top

There you have it, I think I have given you enough advice to get going.
