i think most people think adsense is easy to earn money off with no effort, im not saying your one of these people but if you want to make money out of adsense then you have to work hard. also making a website should be about something you know about and does help if you enjoy talking about the content your making your site on, if your just intrested in making the site for adsense then i would advise not to as you would be wasting your time.
Yes people think that you get $2 per click and that you will only need a few clicks to make a forntune unfortunately this isnt the case! If i was starting a new site i would be looking for popular keywords with little compeition and high traffic. If you would like more infor pm me.
i own an arcade site which is far from perfect, but as long as it suites your visitors than theyll keep coming back, adsense is about placement, and how well the ads go with your site. Im no expert as i only earn like $4 a month, and ive had my site for around 4 months now and only get around 20 uniques a day. It would be good to read up on a few e-books first, find out about good ways to advertise, good ways to keep visitors coming back to your site. One thing though, say like your niche is on sports, you need something UNIQUE that only your site has, ive seen thousands of sites that all carry the same basic content, my site is the same as most arcades running on the script im using, but im currently getting the layout and everything sorted.
