Start a new thread or start a new one exactly the same ?

Just want to know a mods view what should be done, a selling thread, been going for quite some time..... now is it best to update the thread with new deals etc or should a new thread be created thats exaclty the same ?

 

Ideally, you should create a thread with ALL the information included in the original post, including prices, availability, timeframes, etc.

You can request that the mods close your thread if the offer is no longer relevant (sold out, expired, etc.) and you wish to create a new thread with "new" products/services/prices. Do not create duplicate threads.

What you should NOT do is bump your thread with posts such as: "above deal still valid for the next two people", or "xxx more spaces left", or "offer now extended until xxx", because these are considered bumps. Members would normally expect that a deal is available until the thread starter indicates it is not.

EDIT: another useful technique is to add your sales thread to your signature to create extra interest. This way your thread is promoted in every thread in which you participate.
