Start a new domain , or buy an older one ?

    We have 1 main site, that we promote and optimize.

    I'm willing to make 2 or 3 content-related sites, to link for this main one.

    Should I register new domains , or should I buy an old domain name to do that ?

    Of course, the new domains will be keyword names :)

    if you want immediate traffic from seo buy an old domain. You don't mind immediate traffic then go for a new one.

    BTW google loves old domains

    ..:: peace ::..

    Yeah, buy up a few old domains, possible ones that are related to your site. And host them with a different web host, one in a different state then your main site. What's your main site about,, I might have a site related to yours that you can buy.. I'm selling a bunch of established sites on eBay soon, starting tonight.

    Peace

    Let's say I go for a new domain name.

    How long does it take for it to be trusted and valued by Google ?

    It depends to how good your marketing is.. I have managed to bring similar websites to be known and profitable in about 6 months but it will take at least 1 or 2 years for websites to reach a maximum potential and gain a real weight on the market.

    If you need assistance in a plan or consultancy, PM me and we can discuss this more deeper.

    If you'll buy new domain, you have to register it for 2 or 3 years. It brings some trust to you in google's eyes

    Buy an old domain will give you the age and very probably give you a reasonably good ranking in SERP immediately. It takes a new domain very long to rank well in SERP as your new domain may probably go through the sandbox period.
