Hi, i am interested in starting a directory, i already run an established niche site, however, i wish to start a directory for this niche, however, is it better to start the directory off my main site, like dir.yahoo.com or is it better to start it on its own directory like alivedirectory.com and power it with a link from my main site?
Start a new directory and drive traffic from your other sites. Here is a tutorial I wrote for starting a general directory, but it can be adapted: building a directory
