I started a javablog site from scratch and considering the competition in Java blog, restricted myself to unique content; after a struggle of one month could only make up my site to 20 pages now, with all initial struggles for content and traffic to my site, got into a basic question Isit any good to start a site start from scratch compared to buying a site with say 10-30 unique users/day at a decent price? I'm newb into the world of internet, your inputs will help me going forward.
Well, i'd say start from scratch but u can always get contributers who will write content for u in exchange for backlinks or a bit money, just to get the content started..
Some say buy an old site if you can, since the age of the domain plays a part in how well it will do.
What is the site's price? Compare that to getting paid article writters to write content for your site (every though about this?) it'll give you more control over the content for your site.
If you buy an existing site, you would still need to write more. You can get more backlinks for the old site to rise in the SEs.
