I'm going to skip the overly dramatic sales pitch, and get straight to the point. After much debate, I have decided to depart with a project that has had a vast amount of professional development time invested into it, and just short of $1000.00 spent to fund it - not including the pretty sum of money for the domain.​

Starkblind.com was originally designed as a classified ad's service, but with a difference. Visually, it isn't your standard classified ad's website. It's easy to use, and doesn't complicate matters. Feature wise, it has everything a service of it's type requires.


Monetization Methods

StarkBlind.com isn't an established website/business - it's newly developed and ready to launch. However, the original business plan included the following methods of possible monetization.

* Paid Advertising (Adsense and private ad's for example)
* Membership Access
* Pay Per Advert
* 'Featured Ad' Fee's.

As you can see, there's plenty of monetization methods available to adopt should you decide to go down that route.

Reason for sale

I own a number of online businesses. StarkBlind was another venture I had extensively planned to expand on what I currently own. The online classified ad's industry alone is worth $14.1 billion, it's a thriving market. Fortunately, my other ventures now allow me to live comfortably and StarkBlind has been dormant for sometime now, it's potential is blatently obvious, I just honestly don't have the desire to move forward with it.

Investment

Starkblind has had a lot of time, effort and money put into it. The following is a small run down of current expenditure.

* Professionally developed theme, built from scratch - $300
* Custom module and core customizations - $500
* Graphic design and implemention - $160
* Domain name StarkBlind.com, business registered - Undisclosed amount, respective of the seller. It wasn't cheap, put it that way. Purchased around a year ago.


Additional details & notes

Feature wise, StarkBlind doesn't have any limitations. The demo you are able to view today is simply a shell (hence the place holder text). For example, further search filters can be added with a couple of clicks, social networking widgets, community functions, monetization methods and overall performance is available to enable, tweak and use at your disposal.

I can't stress enough how much work has being put into this venture.



Sale Price

Due to my decision to sell StarkBlind in it's current state (Newly developed, no revenue and traffic), I'll lose a large portion of the development cost's. That being said, I could be greedy, stick it up for sale on Flippa for a tidy sum and walk away a lot better off.

Fortunately that isn't what I'm about. I enjoy the community Digitalpoint has amassed, and trust members slightly more than certain unnamed website trading outlets. I have a rough idea on how much StarkBlind (In it's current state) can sell for, due to current offers - but I'd like to start fresh on Digitalpoint.
