Starcraft Domains

I have a bunch of starcraft domain names that I bought when the hype around Starcraft 2 was being released. I was just wondering if a few people might consider giving me an estimate value on them:

buystarcraft.com
buy-starcraft.com
buystarcraft2.com

starcraft2cheats.org
starcraftiicheats.com
starcraft2cheats.net
sc2cheats.com

 

I'm assuming that by the lack of responses that they aren't worth very much???

Well it's been a few years since I posted this thread, and I recently read this thread:

So I figured I'd ask if anyone would be willing to through some ballpark values on these domains because I'm seriously considering selling.

 

buystarcraft.com looks promising and pays you well... I recommend you to see your options at Sedo.

 

buystarcraft.com, starcraft2cheats.net and sc2cheats.com might be of some value, but not very high I'm afraid.

Once again, I need to suggest you to develop something on those domains instead and sell them as websites, not as domains, getting high-$xxx (or perhaps even $xxxx, depending on how well you do it) instead of the $xx (low $xxx tops) you'll get for just the domains.

By the way - cheat sites are extremely easy to develop. And even though you'll have A LOT of competition, it's still fairly easy to get decent traffic to those sites. Monetize by adsense (gamers are usually quite click-happy) and an affiliate offer from a store that sells the game - and sell the site once it has decent traffic and has generated some revenue.

To give you an idea, I've recently sold a game-related site that had only around 15k visits per month (for only a few months) and not more than $20/month revenue for $1,100.

 

As stated, you would have to sell these on the blackmarket as they are TM violations.

 

buystarcraft2.com will be a great domain to sell star craft, I think once released it will have a high search volume.
