Hi all. I've answered all PMs. Unfortunately, my ISP isn't resolving DNS for the entire server this site is on. I'll gladly post stats from AWstats on this site when I can.

Important factors:
PHPBB Forum - Upgrading to VBulletin + VBSEO would skyrocket memberships on this site. I haven't done it because I've moved on to other projects.
The site is 5 years old.
The site is listed in DMOZ
PR3
Yahoo shows 1253 inbound links excluding the domain internal links

The Star Wars TV series is coming soon. When it hits, traffic will spike like crazy. Episode III brought some crazy statistics when the movie was being filmed through when the DVD was released.

I haven't monetized the site very well with targeted SW offers so income is very low (being honest).

Just to clarify, the DNS problem is only from MY ISP. The site is operating fine. I will probably reboot my comp and my modem after this post. Hopefully that will fix it. Qwest DSL sucks....

bix, sure. I will go through all posts here and make sure everyone has received the domain address.

 

Update, just rebooted everyhting and the DNS is fixed. I will post screenshots using Photoshop only to resize them to be forum friendly.

 

As of this post, this is the updated AWstats. I choose September for the stats viewing month.

Spiders love the forum. Even though it is a PHPBB forum, the bots still slam us.

How vigorous are you in cleaning out spambots and posts etc?

 

Well send PMs to both of you.

I clean posts all of the time. I have a custom switch in the backend for cleaning 0 post accounts with 2 clicks, wipes out hundreds at a time. I do this about once every couple months. Spambots have a hard time with this forum automating the signup process because we added measures to prevent them.

Also the memberlist is robots.txt blocked so there is no benefit if they were to get a couple accounts through.
