Star rating my own post is a good/bad idea?

Hi everyone! Rating stars is a good type of schema to increase the CTR on SERPs, but...

Can we rate our own posts/articles? Google knows when it's me doing this? Is it bad?

Besides, I was thinking about sending my articles to my friends in order to earn more star ratings. Would be that more "acceptable"?

It's a bad idea to rate your own post. Google frowns upon inauthentic activity and can detect it. Getting friends to rate it isn't ideal either. Focus on creating high-quality content that users will naturally find valuable and engage with.

It is not recommended to rate your own posts/articles as it may negatively impact your credibility and SEO ranking. Google may be able to detect this behavior and penalize your website. It is more acceptable to encourage friends and genuine readers to rate your articles, as long as their feedback is honest and unbiased. This can help improve your credibility and increase your CTR on SERPs.

It's a bad idea. Google is very thorough in checking everything now. It's better to look for other options.

Using star ratings can definitely boost CTR, but self-rating can backfire.
