Standard: Show ads evenly over time (Not Working)

Ok, I actually had received an e-mail from support but it went into the old spam folder.

Basically what happened is with a new campaign (a day or two old) is that my actual budget vs recomended budget appeared "ok". After the campaign got some traction the recomended budget went up 4X and I never checked it again until today.

Here's a snippet of what they sent me in case it's at all helpful to anyone else:

I've reviewed your account and found that over the last few days your
'name removed' campaign has neared it's daily budget earlier in
the day. I also see that on June 22, 2007 you raised your daily budget to
removed. Please be assured that the 'Standard' ad delivery setting is being
applied to your campaign. Our system will do everything in its power to
stretch your traffic out throughout the day; however, in this case, the
amount of potential traffic within your 'name removed' campaign is
much more than your daily budget allows. For this reason, you are accruing
most of your traffic in the morning hours.

Please understand though, that this is not specific to the last few days.
I ran campaign performance reports for your 'name removed'
campaign for two separate periods: the entire month of June and the last
few days (June 24, 2007 - June 27, 2007). I've attached the resulting
graphs to this email. I found that your AdWords traffic pattern for this
campaign is virtually identical in both periods. Thus this type of budget
usage is definitely normal for your campaign.

Your campaign is built out very well. Each of your ad groups seems to be
expressly focused on a specific product or service. However, you have 37
ad groups worth of advertising all competing for your removed daily budget.
Subsequently, there is far more traffic available than your campaign
budget can serve. I suggest increasing your daily budget to a comfortable
amount, in order to maximize your ad's visibility. I see that our
recommended daily budget for your 'Recipe Search Engine' campaign is
