Hey guys, Just wanted to get a general opinion here. I have a bit of a quandary! Just come in to take over on content marketing for a few websites. They have a 'News and Events' page, but since the websites are built using .NET, Wordpress cannot be installed as a subfolder (/news). Ergo it uses the company's own (and slightly rubbish) CMS system for adding and updating content. A couple of the sites actually went ahead and created a Wordpress blog under a subdomain, blog.website.co.uk. So that exists alongside the News and Events page. Naturally what I want to do is make a decision on which method to use, get that unified across the sites and start adding quality content to them. With a recent site redesign, their News and Events page looks and works quite well, so my question is really, is it better that I stick a crappy CMS and add content to the actual site, or use the Wordpress subdomain blog, and set to work getting that to sit in with the site's design? Any opinions, ideas and suggestions all welcome; thanks for reading!
