SSL Certificates from Regfly.com are a SCAM

    Hello all. I'd just like to report that I've recently purchased an SSL Certificate from RegFly. Unfortunately it turns out that RegFly is a rebranded version of RegisterFly, the internet pirate company;

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RegisterFly

    In my case I bought an SSL, tried to generate it using their online system by pasting in my CSR and it kept giving me an error saying it there wasn't enough credit. I raised a support request saying that I was getting the "Not enough Credit!" message and didn't receive any reply. I then chased up the ticket and shortly afterwards the ticket was deleted without any reply.

    So be warned everyone, RegFly is a SCAM company who will charge you for services and then won't deliver, just like the old RegisterFly company.

    I repeat, STAY CLEAR OF REGFLY!

    Hopefully people will do some Googling first, unlike I did.

    Regfly is indeed a scam! Stay away there!

    I've payed more than 60$ for some domain names, I did pay, but I didn't get any domain....

    Get your SSL from enom.com, I've used them for years without any problems.

    Would you believe, 5 months after registering an SSL with Regfly, which was never delivered or refunded, as per my post above... they are now sending me automated reminders every few days saying that my SSL is about to expire and inviting me to renew...! It was a 1 year certificate! I mean it's not that they're just incompetent, they are FULL ON scamsters, equivalent of the best of the 419 scammers. How on earth can they continue trading without investigation??

    hi. honestly i registered just to reply to this thread.

    in 2006, my multi-million dollar business domain name (hosted on registerfly) whois information was changed. I was blackmailed $100K. My boss offered $50K which he turns down and wanted $500K. so we said **** it, and register another domain and paid big bucks to chinese hackers to ddos that domain. For many times registerfly overcharged me for hosting & domains. Support ticket never answered, calls never answered. Never ever buy anything from regfly ! Beware !
