Ok, here is the question. How much can I earn a month in order for me to still be receiving SSI benefits? I have been physically disabled from birth so I have been receiving SSI benefits ever since then. So my question is, how much is it ok for me to earn in order to still receive the benefits. One more thing, if my earnings aren't constant will SSI pay me based on the amount I earned per month or do they see the earning for one month and automatically assume that its how much I earn every month. Right now I don't earn anything yet but I am still curious about it.
You may want to speak to an attorney about setting up a special needs trust so that any additional money you (or maybe a separate company) earns would not be counted against your SSI or other benefits. As for your specific question, I do not know the answer and I am sure it depends on various factors which you have not mentioned here.
