Well i have a linux VPS server.

i have read somewhere that to install, you have to open the ports 8888 and 8887 in the firewall. Otherwise you won’t be able to connect to HyperVM.

If hypervm or any other free control panel can be installed by me.

Which one and their installation process ?

I need to do some basic things.

    1. I want to create a new database and attached a sql file to it.
    2. I have already installed PHP but i want to configure it with

    './configure' '--enable-fastcgi' '--enable-force-cgi-redirect' '--with-zlib' '--with-gettext' '--with-iconv' '--with-xml' '--with-curl' '--with-mysql' '--enable-gd-native-ttf' '--enable-bcmath' '--enable-mbstring' '--with-mysqli' '--with-mcrypt' '--enable-sockets'
    Code (markup):
    3. Configuring Lighttpd

    Setting Up PHP with Lighttpd

    4. Setting some Cron jobs

but i dont know how to do this with SSH

HyperVm has to be installed by the owner of the server your VPS is on, but you can install Lxadmin or cpanel or an opensource alternative on your VPS (as you want to manage VPS services and not VPS creation services like HyperVM does).

If it is managed VPS server, you can request your host to install it for you.
